Banig wowed the audience in her first U. S. TV show appearance with her superb rendition of "Get Up, Get Down, Get Funky, Get Loose", a hit song of Teddy Pendergrass in "The Arsenio Hall Show" in June 1989. She finished the performance with standing ovation from the audience.
